Pocket Dragon Adventures © 1997 Bohbot Entertainment and Real Musgrave

You also are co-writing the new children's animated program Pocket Dragon Adventures.
Tell us a little about that.
"Pocket Dragon Adventures is based on the artwork of Texas artist Real Musgrave.
The series was created by me and my business partner, Craig Miller.
We're executive producers, story-editors and the main writers.
It's a comedy adventure series for younger viewers filled with a lot of frenetic "Loony Tunes" like
action along with wonderful characters. The Dragons are between 3-6 inches high and live in a
mythical 12th century England, but an England that has never existed anywhere. It's
a wonderfully funny and cute show.

Real's birhtday is June 7th,

Muff's is also a June baby,

but since a real princess

never tells her age, you'll

have to ask her for the date.

The
Whimsical
World
of
Pocket Dragons

Pocket Dragons -are the mischievous little green dragons that nest in the pockets of old English tweed jackets and delight in stealing cookies from the Wizard's cookie jar. But more than that, they represent those
people and pets in our lives who fill our hearts with joy and laughter.
They are everyday expressions, wrapped in green Magic·with wings.
Although Real Musgrave has drawn dragons since he was five years old,
the Pocket Dragons, as we know them, did not fully develop until the
1970's. While in college, Real drew and sculpted life-sized dragons,
some to 65 feet long. However, after graduation, he and his wife, Muff,
back-packed through Europe and his drawings were done on a small pad·which fit into the pocket of his tweed jacket. Viola! Pocket Dragons!
Their small size, the personality and expressions of the Musgrave's little
dog, Flower, and Real's gentle humor were combined to create the
little fellows we know today.

Gargoyles- were modeled after Real and Muff's dog Shelby. When Shelby was adopted from the Animal Shelter, Real fully expected her to have a Pocket Dragon personality. Shelby turned out to be a gargoyle instead.
Gargoyles are slightly pudgy, slow moving and convinced that they do all
the work while everyone else has all the fun. They are steadfast and loyal and very loving creatures.

Wizards-Real has often said that he wants to grow up to be one of his
wizards - grandfatherly types who can work a hard day's Magic, then come
home at night and read Bedtime stories to all the little creatures who live in the house. The Real Wizard loves nothing more than a comfortable chair in the library,a good book, a cup of coffee and a relaxing pipe of tobacco.
